The 2024 Classic Car Run

INTRODUCTION  

Closing the 2024 Classic car season with nothing but bliss and motivation. The few Classic Car events from the City Initiatives to promote cars have truly been a wonder. 

 CONTENT

Classic Car Season officially starts in June. Right around the first day of the Summer and runs all the way to End of the Summer September 20ish.  

In the District, we had a whole a Summer Car Fever where a few great exclusive car events took place, like the Cars at the Capital by Carcoterie.com, and the most significant car event of this past summer, the Formula One car event by Red Bull https://www.redbull.com/us-en/events/red-bull-showrun-dc 

 We, at Occasional Classics, also got to host our first Cars and Coffee event in partnership with Pjs coffee Camp Springs MD location, which has just launched its opening this year. 

For many Classic Car enthusiasts, the Spring is the most exciting time of the year as classic car season starts. On the opposite end, winter is the worst time for classic cars, but winter does come with some opportunities for classic cars enthusiasts.  

Most classic car owners put away their cars in the fall and through the winter until spring. The winter is a great time to get cars fixed and store the cars in order to protect the car from possible snow damage as well as avoid the dreaded cold starts of the winter.  

SUMMARY  

In essence the 2024 Car Season in the district has only worked to strengthen the car scene in the city. The few significant car events from big players in the car scene have only worked to demonstrate how The District can be a great car culture scene. With the Winter coming in full effect, we look forward to the Springtime and more classic car events!
