Washington DC is known as Chocolate City and Dee Dwyer works directly to  highlight many facets of Dc flavor. For the 2026 Opening event, Chocolate City Experience hosted a Photography exhibit right in Adams Morgan at the famous Shanklin Hall, alongside some cool Classic cars from us here at Occasional Classics.

The event felt like a summer block party. From the event space, the people and the whole vibe. People Jumped rope at the sidewalk, and like a miracle, big and long floaty  classic cars graced the difficult parking spaces of Adams Morgan without any issues . From the music to drinks, Shanklin Hall kept the vibe going. But most of all, is the photography exhibit work that was displayed inside Shanklin hall walls, highlighting deep commitment to capturing the essence of Chocolate City Experience.

Speaking with Dee Dwyer,  she said she has many more events to come through the Spring, Summer and Fall, after the initial opening exhibit. Feel free to check out Dee Dwyer work directly at www.deedwyerjonts.com  We at Occasional Classics also have few things coming up and we look forward to networking and collaborating with many more creatives inside and outside of the city through the remainder of 2026.

Summary

The Chocolate City Experience events from Dee Dwyer works to directly showcase many aspects of the Washington DC community, in bringing people together, celebrating the city and creating beautiful moments. Both Chocolate City Experience and Occasional Classics have many more events coming up throughout the year to bring out community engagement. Stay tuned.
